This is a simple guide to get your home wireless network up and running. First determine the number of users that will connect to the network, the number of shared resources such as printers and the type of Internet connection that you have in place. The next step is to purchase a broadband modem router, and wireless access adaptors for each user. Many manufacturers sell bundles to save on costs. Once all hardware is purchased refer to the manufacturers guide for setup instructions. Normally the router will have to be configured and installed first. Once this is done and the Internet connection is verified, add each individual user and apply security settings. For specific installation instructions always refer to the manufacturers guidelines.
